I am a natural light photographer and schedule primarily early morning sessions or evening sessions 1-2 hours prior to sunset. We can discuss the time of day for your session together as the best light often varies by the time of year.
Your session will take place at an outdoor location. I have suggestions depending on the look you want and am always open if you have a specific location in mind. We'll discuss and select a location that will be perfect for your session! For newborns, babies and small families a lifestyle portrait sessions can take place in your home using your own loved surroundings as the backdrop to your photos!
A 1 hour session is typical, though no official time limit is ever applied. Sometimes it’s a bit shorter and sometimes it's best to plan on a little longer (particularly with newborns and large families) so there’s plenty of time for breaks. I like to let you warm up to me and love to capture a mix of more traditional portraits and candid moments of you just being you.
Within 2 weeks of your session, your images will be available for you to view. I guarantee a minimum of 30 images in your proofing gallery, but there are often many more. You have the option of chosing in person ordering session where we will meet together to view your images and place your order so I can help answer questions and guide you through the process, or an online galllery. If you have purchased a digital session option, your images will be available for download right away!
